I think there is a very good variety and diversity of thesis issues and topics, which you address issues from society like housing, reforming the education to disaster. I am very impressed with the variety of topics and that is good. There are even projects closer to landscape project than architectural and also hands-on projects. I think it is very interesting that the department allows such diversity and space for students to explore. I am also very impressed with the quality of drawings, quality-drawings that enable communication. As I can’t read Chinese very well, so I depended on your graphics and drawings. So you must remember architecture communication is not just what you speak, whether in English or mandarin. Your drawing must communicate the idea and your drawings and renderings must communicate the atmosphere you want to create. I also observed that there are not much students exploring sustainable design. I think one or two talked about it, addressing rain water collection or energy generation. I think it is quite an important topic. Sustainable design will become something that everyone should address in their projects and practice. We cannot remain doing projects without thinking its impact on the environment. And I am also a little bit surprised that there were no conservation project. In Taiwan I am sure you have rich districts, old districts and old buildings or buildings being threatened to be demolished. I was expecting there were some interesting conservation projects. So for the junior students, that would be something you would like to talk about and explore for your future thesis project. The last one is that I think this is a very important project in your life. Some of the professors have already said that this is the only chance you have to explore something you are passionate about, or interested in. For my personal view, a good thesis project is something that makes a very good discussion platform, or a project you are visioning what can happen in the future or bringing us to a problem in your society and showing people what the possible solution is to solve this problem. So I really would like to appreciate every teacher and all the students for these very interesting three days even though it was tiring, but I really enjoy listening to your ideas, listening to the comments, critics by other universities and architects. Thank you.
